ISO 45001 

ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases. ISO 45001 certification was developed to mitigate any factors that can cause employees and businesses irreparable harm. Its standards are the result of great effort by a committee of health and safety management experts who looked closely at a number of other approaches to system management — including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. In addition, ISO 45001 was designed to take other existing occupational health and safety standards, such as OHSAS 18001, into account — as well as the ILO’s labor standards, conventions and safety guidelines.

HACCP : Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point

British Retail Consortium Global Standard is designed for any supplier, regardless of product or country of origin, that supplier food product to the UK retailers. ISO22000 : Food Safety management system

ISO22000 is the international standard specifies for a food safety management system that combines the generally recognized key elements such as interactive communication, system management, process control, HACCP principles and prerequisite programs to ensure food safety along the food chain. This standard can be applied to all types of organizations within the food chain ranging form feed producers, primary procedures though food manufactures, transport and storage operations and subcontractors to retail and food service outlets – together with inter-related organizations such as producers of equipment, packaging material, cleaning agents, additives and ingredients.

International Food Standard (IFS)

Food safety continues to be a global concern. German and French food trade associations, with the assistance of other international retailers, have responded by developing IFS or the International Food Standard. The aim of the standard is to focus the various requirements of retailers on one standard. Benefits of the standard include enhanced transparency along the food chain and a reduced number of customer audits resulting in cost savings. Certification to IFS by an independent third-party, by BSI Management Systems, helps suppliers demonstrate to retailers that their product safety, quality and legal obligations are fulfilled.


Halal is a sign that a product generally has a food quality characteristic distinguishing from similar products of standard quality. It is the symbol of quality food to meet ethical Islamic law that meets the following conditions:
1. It does not constitute or contain anything deemed illegal according to Islamic Law;
2. Producer should not have been prepared, processed, transported or stored using instruments or equipment not conforming to Islamic Law;
3. During preparation, processing, transportation or storage should not have been in direct contact with non-halal food.

Halal food means food permitted in compliance with Islamic Law, including other objects with the same meaning and full qualifications in conformity with requirements described in this standard.
